Regional Development Australia Fund

Round Two of the Regional Development Australia Fund (RDAF) is now open. The Australian Government will provide $200 million towards projects which address regional issues and priorities, support regional communities and deliver both short and long-term community and economic benefits for local communities.

The Regional Development Australia Fund will boost economic and community development in regional Australia by supporting the infrastructure needs and economic growth and is a new approach to unlocking the potential of Australia’s regions by focusing on locally driven solutions to regional needs.

Projects must fit with at least one of the priorities in RDA Illawarra's Regional Planand receive endorsement by the RDA Illawarra Board.

Please note that funding under the RDAF is offered in rounds.  The second round closes on 1 Dec 2011.

To seek RDA Illawarra's endorsement of a project you will need to ensure a timely consultation process with the RDA Illawarra team before the due date for applications.
